Nova

Inspired by the song Aviva Pastoral, Nova is a short story about a woeful girl ( Nicole Ramsey) coping with a serious loss and finding closure by looking to the new life that soon will be a part of her bright future.

Shot as a prelude, Nova was filmed using a Dvx100a & with an M2 adapter with an asortment of Nikon lenses. Not only does the short serve as a prelude to longer piece but also as a way to test out new techniques with lighting & equipment.

Street Racers

It's gotta be the shoes! This short was the first time I used my M2 and Dvx100a and I have to say she performed lovely. I switched between 28mm, 55mm, and 135mm Nikkor lenses during the 4.5 hour shoot..

The Runaways

This music short was based on a dream I had after hearing a song by the group Runaways Uk. It was never completed but here's a compilation of most of the footage..

Achievement points for life

Everyone loves to achieve, that's the genius behind the Xbox live point system. Well what about if you got achievement points for things you accomplished in the real world? Who wouldn't like that?

I've been sitting on these shorts for quite a while now and it's time to finally release them into the wild. I planned to do several of these to keep myself filming something every other week, due to an increased work load, that didn't pan out. In addition, my good friend Thomas had some great ideas for some shorts but we never got around to filming because he went and became a proud Papa. Now that's a real achievement.
